What is the difference between a salt pool vs a chlorine pool? Saltwater pools use electrolysis to transform the salt from the water into chlorine to sanitize the pool, which makes it less aggressive on all skin types. Chlorine pools are more traditional in that they use chlorine tabs or liquid to sanitize.
Can I avoid using chlorine or any chemicals in my pool? The short answer would be no; but you can avoid using chlorine in an indoor pool by using another halogen called bromine, especially if the water temperature is kept above 90 degrees Fahrenheit. You can also use a non-chlorinated oxidizer on an indoor pool to avoid using chlorine. Outdoor pools would need to be sanitized with some type of chlorine whether by electrolysis through a saltwater pool or by chemical tabs in a traditional chlorine pool. When do I need a filter clean? At Weimer Works Trophy Club Pool Service & Repair, we recommend on a cartridge filter, every three months. Therefore, we offer a complete package that includes regular filter cleans with your monthly paid service. The maximum amount of time you want to wait is when your filter gauge reaches 30psi or more. When that happens, please give us a call.

My pool is a swamp what do I do? Weimer Works Trophy Club Pool Service & Repair offers services for the smallest of clean ups to the complete overhaul of the pool. Sometimes this can be in as soon as 48 hours after your first service and sometimes even up to 72 hours, but if the buildup is significant enough, we will have to drain the entire pool in order to achieve the best results.
What are these tiny little brown spots on my plaster? Most likely a stain caused by an acorn that fell into the pool. The stain is easily removed with granular oxidizer. Weimer Works Trophy Club Pool Service & Repair offers stain treatments for a variety of different types of stains, including, but limited to dry acid, citric acid, alum, granular oxidizer, and other sequestrants.
